A Moment of Satisfaction…
To continue doing good and honest work consistently, one needs inner strength—and sometimes that strength comes from moments like these. Today was one such day for me, a moment that brought deep satisfaction and renewed energy for the work ahead.
A patient from MGM was diagnosed with a serious lung condition, CCAM (Congenital Cystic Adenomatoid Malformation). In addition, the patient was also suffering from a fungal infection known as aspergillosis. The clinical condition was extremely critical, and the surgery required was major and high-risk.
This complex and challenging surgery was successfully performed at KEM Hospital, Mumbai. I made a conscious decision to travel to Mumbai after taking special time, as this was not merely a medical procedure, but a responsibility deeply connected to the patient’s life and the trust of the family.
In such situations, a doctor’s skill, experience, patience, and confidence play a vital role. Every clinical decision must be taken with the highest level of care and responsibility.
The surgery was successful, and the patient is currently stable and safe. Receiving this confirmation brings a sense of fulfilment that is difficult to express in words. Moments like these reaffirm that the path we are following is right and motivate us to continue serving with dedication and sincerity.
